Ian Compton
1650 Madison Ave., Ste. 101, Mankato, MN 56001
Ian Compton's Profile
Ian believes real estate is more than a career. It's a meaningful way to serve people through some of the biggest decisions of their lives. Since buying his first home in 2017, he has bought and sold multiple properties while building a portfolio of long-term and short-term rentals, and he enjoys taking on fix-and-flip projects that bring distressed homes back to life. As both an investor and a real estate professional, Ian understands the opportunities and challenges that come with buying, selling, and investing.
Before entering real estate, Ian spent more than 10 years in law enforcement, an experience that shaped his commitment to integrity, service, and the people in his community. Going through the buying process himself showed him how much people benefit from a steady, knowledgeable voice in their corner, and that is a big part of why he chose real estate. He is dedicated to making the process approachable, informative, and rewarding. Whether his clients are searching for their dream home, purchasing a first investment property, or pursuing their next opportunity, Ian helps them feel confident every step of the way. He especially enjoys working with fellow investors.
Ian is proud to live and work in the community he serves. When he's not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Tess, their two cats, and their dog. Family and relationships are central to Ian's life, and that same care extends to every client.
